Imagine walking around wearing a belt with 13 bags of sugar hooked on it. It would weigh you down a bit for sure.
That’s roughly the load that’s been lifted from my frame in 73 days.
It makes a huge difference both mentally as well as physically.
I’ve spent the past few weeks desperate to get through that barrier and regardless of how big a deal it is or not, I’m well chuffed.
Seven more pounds and I’ll be exactly half way towards my year end target.
This past week or so has been a bit rubbish training wise, largely owing to a dose of the sniffles.
And Paul the Trainer gave me a bit of a lecture during the week – fairly it must be said – for not eating properly before a session.
For properly, read not at all.
But here we are – month three and well on course.
Great for me, sure.
With your help, though, it can be great for my chosen charity too.
Please, if you can, throw them a few quid, by donating here.
If only because you’ll know it’ll force me into working that little bit harder towards the next milestone.
