Shaun Milne

I’m Shaun Milne.

For around 37 years, I did next to no exercise, enjoyed too many curries and drank far too much beer and wine.

As such I tipped the scales at 17 stone.

For all manner of reasons, not least the challenge itself, I wanted to lose a target weight of five stones (70lb or 31 kilos) over 12 months.

I managed four in year one, raising £1000 for charity to boot.

As a journalist, I will try my best to articulate these efforts as openly and honestly as I can, the lows as well as the highs.

And as one half of Two Fat Laddies, I promise to at least try my very best.

Well done you two! Looking forward to reading about your efforts – and might I suggest one fun exercise to try which will no doubt give you brilliant material for a blog (and would probably be a first for straight Scottish men everywhere) would be a wee trip to a local Zumba class? The photos alone would be worth it!

  2. Hello Guys,

We saw you in the Record and were very impressed.

Ellen Arnison says you might like free online hypnotherapy from Thinking Slimmer to help you lose more weight and raise even more money for charity.

We’d be delighted to give you all the help you need. One lady who’s been listening to one of our downloads for five months has lost 36lbs.

Best of luck to you in your fantastic venture!

  8. Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
